Labels are key-value pairs that can be attached to Secure Edge objects including iNodes, iNode networks, security policies, and alerts. Labels allow you to organize your objects by specifying attributes in any way that makes sense for you. You can use labels as a selector to choose a set of objects.
You can add labels when adding or editing an Secure Edge object. In general, when adding a label, follow these steps:
- Select + Add New Label. The key is required and must be unique for an object. When you add a new key, a few frequently used keys are displayed in the list for convenience. These are just examples; you can create your own.
The key and value must:
- Be 63 or fewer characters
- Start and end with an alphanumeric character
- Consist of alphanumeric, dash ( - ), underscore ( _ ), or dot ( . ) characters
You can add no more than eight labels to an object.
