The Building subpage is the default page that loads for the Occupancy tab. This page has three widgets that display sensor data from building occupancy sensors.
Building Occupancy
The Building Occupancy widget displays real-time and historical data on overall {{glossary.building occupancy}}, in total count and percentages, based on the maximum occupancy for the building. Data is collected from occupancy sensors at entry points and/or elevator banks. The widget shows the following information:
- Real-time occupancy
- The average occupancy for that day of the week, over the past 90 days.
- The peak occupancy for that day of the week, over the past 90 days
These values are represented both numerically and in a graph that shows the detailed counts across 24 hours of the current day of the week.
Lobby Activity
The Lobby Activity widget shows different data about foot traffic in your building lobby. Foot traffic is the rate of change in building occupancy during a 15-minute period. It is calculated using data from the building occupancy sensors. The widget shows the following information:
- Real-time foot traffic, which is the total number of people who passed through the lobby in the past five minutes.
- The average foot traffic for that time of day, for that day of the week, over the past 90 days.
- The peak foot traffic for that time of day, for that day of the week, over the past 90 days.
These {{glossary.lobby activity}} values are represented both numerically and in a graph that shows the detailed counts across 24 hours of the current day of the week.
Building Occupancy Details
The Building Occupancy Details widget shows the current occupancy counts per sensor location. These locations are specific to each View customer and the areas they choose to monitor. You can see more information on the Sensors subpage.
